For your consideration, my favorite TV shows and movies from the past year.
Mad Men: I believe I’ve said enough about this show in previous posts.
Sex and the City: I don’t believe that I like this “girly” show so much.
Curb Your Enthusiasm: I believe that any Seinfeld lover should watch this hilarious show. If nothing else than at least season seven, which is basically a Seinfeld reunion show. Plus the ending of episode two made me laugh so hard my face hurt.
UP!: I believe I cried within the first ten minutes. Great movie for everyone.
Taken: I really actually believed that the bad guys in this action movie deserved to be punished with a shot in the face, their actions were actually evil, not just some guys 
playing the evil doer archetype.
Doubt: I believe. And I’m a really good doubter too.
Up in the Air: I don’t believe Jason Rietmen knows how to make a bad movie. Not as good as I’d hoped, but a gem all the same.
There Will Be Blood: I believe this movie came out in 2008, but I didn’t see it until this past year. “I drink your milkshake, I drink it up!”
Inglorious Basterds: I believe in the powers of Tarentino. Christoph Waltz puts in my favorite performance of the year.
Avatar: It’s good, so damn good.
